It just dawned on me just very recently when this friend of mine talks about property like your home where you can stay for the rest of your life. Of course here in the western society, its not really a thing like in South East Asia where an old family member will be taken care of by the younger family member. anyway, as we talked about it with my friend, we sort of saying… yeah, it is reality that we are now heading towards sunset (getting older) and much as we are enjoying our comfort of living today, what would it be like when we are old? Shall we stay in this house forever, maybe too big to manage or maybe not too aged and frail friendly?
On the way to school, I can see these old retirement villages and honestly, the best people who are ready to give us their morning greetings are the occupants, they are not young anymore, but still trying to be bubbly, they wave, they nod, they say to my kids, off to school sweetheart? They walk with aid, walking stick, some are barely stepping…but hey, they seem to enjoy the company of their fellow retirees, I think, for myself, its worth planning my years ahead now, and maybe checking some options, in America, Philly Senior Homes knew and understand this need and who knows, these are just the information you needed just before sun sets.
ster, asa na ang Westlife update?? :))
