didn’t realised it was that long since I keyed in few words in this website… maybe I was in my other website, www.tagadabaw.com/sj well, not quite sure. if you tried t access this new one without success, let me know.
am still here. too much to do, thats it. just didn’t get the chance to scribbble here. i found a new job in a big hospital in Perth and just on the last day of the term, I was asked by the deputy principal in my children’s school if am interested to work for a term as education support.
of course i said yes. i have been don the end of the earth then up searching for jobs that suits me and the family schedule and just in a matter of week, these two jobs came into my lap wanting to be taken over soon.
as i told my a colleague at my former workplace, rocky bay, she said, well, the door closes and another door opens. so here i go. not spending my weekend and weeknights for job searching anymore, (not that i am too religious about it) am just glad, got an office work and teaching job. but credit to my first two jobs. that was the extreme of what i wa prepared to do to gain experiences. am glad i did it and am off as a working mum, city gurl for 2.5 days and and a part time teacher’s assistant at the same school where mel and bien goes. Easy…. now am laughing. Thanks to all who wished me the best to find these jobs. (my auntie marit will be relieved. have to get those dosh coming a-ha!)
pardon my text. cant be bothered at the moment typing the capital letters. too much of keying since yesterday and today. thats my job… (typing)
How are you going folks? It’s nearly 5 months and such a hectic time it was! I thought I would be able to drop in the line since the last one but then, I have been job hunting and and got the job, then I decided, its not the one for me so I keep lookin again. Then the holiday season came and then I got caught on relatives visiting and staying over so much as their stay went down well, I have to do a lot of catching up myself in my personal activities.
But here I am again, still kickin my heels around, and having said that, I found a casual job in a non profit organisation just 25 minutes walk from my home by the riverside. Most of the days, its pleasant to walk but there are those days when I just wish I stay home becasue it is stinkin’ hot and humid. My job is called a disability support worker in a day center. A little bit different but its the kind of job that helps me reflect on what I’ve got, that I am blessed that I can walk. Most of our clients are wheelchair bound and though they are al mentaly alert, it takes them a while to communicate to someone. The thing is, they are happy and content and they make the most of what they got… Most of all, they appreciate my help. That’s what matter most.
I hop off for now, shifting to the kitchen department of my house. I catch up again later on. Have a good one..
Yes, we are indeed have landed back to the land of the Eagles and Dockers! (thats the two big football team in WA). And the home of the Castle Dines…. (big vegan eaters!)
Our outbound trip that started Sept 29 after a wet afternoon in Makati plus a 2 hour delayed flight by the one and only Cebu Pacific bound for Singapore have finally ended. (Well, at least for few months till we found a bucket of gold coin to buy a tickets)
The Sentosa escapade was great! Well, you just have to believe me, I can’t show you any pictures (left my camera to the hands of Goldwyn) but the bambinos have a blast, running here and there, swimming on the cloudy waters of the Merlion fountains. We never missed a show of the Songs of the Sea on our 3 night stay. Mel and bien just love the whole thing. And in those 3 nites, we never missed a pinoy in the benches as well, screaming….”Aaaaaay, ang ganda! ang galing naman… and on and on and on.”
We stayed at Siloso Beach Resort, a room just right for us, always on the go, yet coming back to sleep in the serenity of sorrounds, the noise you can hear outside in the evening are the fountains of the lily pads. Bien was so pleased to see a liliy pad. He said, wow, this is the first time I saw a lily pad!
So much to say… I think yo just have to watch out for more. I am off to do dishes!!! Ahgg, thats the thing with holidays…… work, work, domestics, routines, Can’t wait for the next one.
